Since March I am working half time for the documentary production company Sagamedia again and learn like crazy. Then Sebastian Mauksch and I are preparing another performance for the theatre convention of the youth and I get ready for the June rehearsals of the second chapter of Monypolo.
All of the above I did last year already as you can see below. Which is a perfect example for the spiral shape of the universe. But there are new things too, I did some camera recording for my friend Toni Jessen, acted in Daniel T. Halsall's short movie, found a new choir and acting workshops to participate in and last but not least quit the damn smoking.

Back in Berlin I am going to work on interviews, old and new ideas and distribute loads of newly gained motivation between different projects.

The third and fourth part of a performance within the scope of the national competition for young artists 2016, that questions young musicians and writers about their art, esthetics and adolescence.
Dr. Jean-Jacques Schaper-Straße and his „Semantikcamp“ are back. For the Convention of the Young Music Scene and the Convention of Young Authors the Doctor and his camera woman Leni Meierotto place themselves in the Piscator-Compartment of the Berliner Festspiele in search of the unexplored adolescence. What is the origin, topic and purpose of young music and literature? What will their future look like? With their qualitative field research in the form of three minute audio visual sequences Dr. Schper-Straße and Leni are trying to draw a diverse tableau of adolescent aesthetics within the art of writing and musical expression.

The second part of a performance in scope of the dance concourse of youth 2016, which interviews teenagers about their ideas about dance and aesthetics.

Dr. Jean-Jacques Schaper-Straße and camera-woman Leni Meierotto are continuing the search of the unexplored youth, this time at the dance concourse of youth at the Berliner Festspiele. Relentlessly through debths and hights the two old-time pedagogues investigate postures, body images, collective experiences in the contemporary dance of the youth. With their qualitative field research in the form of two minute audio visual sequences they are trying to draw a diverse tableau of adolescent esthetics within the art of dancing.

I started an internship with the production company Sagamedia in their Berlin office, where I learn from Michaela Kirst and Martin Gronemeyer about writing, producing and developing documentaries and help where I can.

For Aarhus 2017 Emma Sullivan produces three stories in Denmark. One of them comes to pass on the island Fur in western Denmark. It has been a dream. I will keep you updated.
